NATICK – Jacob William Rosen, age 24, passed away with his family by his side on Monday, August 8, 2022 after battling melanoma.

Jacob lived a full, although short life spending his time learning, creating, loving and sharing experiences with those closest to him.

Born in Colorado, he moved to Massachusetts at age 1. He was a 2016 graduate of Natick High, attended Syracuse University for his BFA in dramatic acting followed, during COVID, by a master’s degree in political science, believing that all politics is theater.

Following his dream, Jacob most recently lived in New York City working professionally in theater. He was also a visual artist and writer, having two of his plays professionally staged and his visual art published. He contributed to environmental newsletters and edited scripts for television and plays.

Jacob was loved by family and friends from all aspects of his life, especially his parents, Jill & Larry, his sister Dani, and his boyfriend John.

A private funeral service will be held followed by a memorial celebration open to all on Sunday, August 14 from 2 to 5 p.m. at Temple Shir Tikva, 141 Boston Post Rd in Wayland..
