ASHLAND – Dorothea “Dottie” Patricia (Kennedy) Harmon, 82, died peacefully August 6, 2022 surrounded by family at Waterview Lodge in Ashland where she resided for the last 5 years.
Dottie was predeceased by her parents James and Dorothea Kennedy, husband Paul and brother James Kennedy. She is survived by her sons, Tommy Harmon and wife Kelly of Framingham and Kevin Harmon of Newton. She has four beloved grandchildren, Jack, Alexandra, Connor and Emma.
Dottie was a graduate of St. Columbkille High School in Brighton.
She worked for the Brighton Co-op and Archdiocese of Boston for many years and after her retirement volunteered at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital.
Visiting Hours in the Lehman Reen & McNamara Funeral Home 63 Chestnut Hill Avenue in Brighton on Tuesday August 9 from 5 to 8 p.m.
Funeral Mass in St. Columbkille Church 321 Market St Brighton on Wednesday August 10 at 10:30 a.m.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
Interment at the Massachusetts National Cemetery Bourne on Thursday August 11th at 10:45 a.m.
Dottie was member Oak Square VFW Post #2022 Ladies Auxiliary.
In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Dottie may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association of MA 309 Waverley Oaks Road Waltham, MA 02452.
