FRAMINGHAM – During last month’s successful Noche de Fiesta event co-hosted by the Framingham Public Library Foundation and the Framingham Public Library, a handful of MetroWest artists painted live.

Now their paintings are part of a an exhibit at the main Framingham Library and all five paintings will be auctioned off in September 2022.

The link to the online auction went live today, August 5.

Individuals, businesses, and corporations can bid on the 5 paintings (36 inches by 48 inches) through October 15 at 9 p.m. PST

If you love a piece and don’t want to risk losing it in the auction, it can be purchased outright.

Fifty percent of the proceeds from each painting will go to the artists and 50% of the proceeds will go to the Framingham Public Library Foundation, which financially supports the City of Framingham Public Library.

The paintings are on display in the Costin room of the main Framingham Public Library at 49 Lexington Street.

The five artists were asked to interpret “fiesta” when they began painting live on July 23 at the Noche de Fiesta event.

The artists are: Aldo Caushi, Yola Gilibert, Tristan Olsen, Patrick St. Pierre, and Samela St. Pierre.
