FRAMINGHAM – Derrick Henry, 59, sadly passed away on July 29, 2022.
Derrick was born on September 14, 1962, to Melvyn and Maria Henry in Brooklyn, NY.
He moved to Framingham, as a young adult and resided there until his untimely passing.
He was a talented individual and could sketch the most beautiful pictures. He also loved to cook, play music, tell jokes, and live life to its fullest.
Derrick was preceded in death by his father, Melvyn Sr. He is survived by his son, Derrick Jr; mother, Maria; brothers, Melvyn Jr. (Ana) and Mark (Tierna); sisters, Denise, Frances, Cheryl, and Rhonda (Rateek); close cousins, Susy, David, and Elliot; and dearest aunt / second mother, Mariestel. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a time of visitation at the Cushing Memorial Chapel, 60 Dudley Road, Framingham on Saturday August 6, 2022, from 10:30 a.m. to noon followed by a funeral service from 12-12:30p.m.
Interment at Edgell Grove Cemetery in Framingham.
