Charlotte E. (Harvill, VanOrden) Burke was born in Maryland but was a long time resident of Framingham, and the surrounding communities. She died peacefully at home after a long battle with cancer at the age of 80.

Charlotte was the beloved daughter to James and Mary Harvill. She was predeceased by her parents and Sister Nancy Pepe and survived by her Brother James Harvill of Baltimore, MD

Charlotte enjoyed her fulfilling career as an accomplished NP of Pediatrics and Allergies.

She loved to travel and was fortunate to enjoy many adventures around the world with her husband Paul. When she was not traveling with her husband, Charlotte enjoyed her time with immediate and extended family at home and on many vacations. Charlotte also enjoyed crafting, and other handiwork such as needlepoint and especially knitting/crocheting prayer shawls with her Church Isle of Capri in Florida

Charlotte was a pillar of strength, love and support to her daughter Elaine Chaisson (VanOrden) and her husband Jack and their children Jake, Jodie and especially Brian. She was a devoted wife to Paul Burke, loving stepmother to Paul’s five children, a fun and loving grandmother to 13 children and great grandmother to seven not to mention many, many nieces and nephews.

A friend of too many; Charlotte always made everyone feel like her family and they were the most important person when she was talking with you.

Charlotte lived a very full life and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her, the list is long.

A celebration of life will be announced later by the family.

The family suggests donations to the Tufts Cancer Center or a charity of one’s choosing.
