FRAMINGHAM – Framingham Police are investigating a breaking & entering reported at a health care center in Framingham.

On Sunday, July 24 at 3:20 a.m. police were dispatched to Encompass Health Care at 125 Newbury Street for a report of a white male hiding in one of the back rooms.

An employee told police, she could smell a strong odor of smoke coming from one of the back rooms in the building. She thought perhaps one of the rooms had a fire.

She told police she entered the room and as she was exiting the room “she noticed a white male lying down in the corner of the dark room.”

She told police she screamed and ran out of the room.

She said the man had a mustache, beard stubble, a white t-shirt and was riding either a blue or green bike.

Police told employees if the man showed up again to call them.
