FRAMINGHAM – Framingham Legion baseball took on Northbridge on Sunday afternoon picking up 16 hits to lead the way to a victory.
Framingham increased their record to 12-9 on Sunday with a 12-2 victory over Northbridge.
David Maude and Patrick Chapin both pitched very well for Framingham both recording 4 strikeouts.
The Framingham bats were led by Connor McGovern 3-4 with 2 doubles and 3 RBI, Dom Morrelli 2-3 with 3 SB, 3 runs scored, Cody Coleman who went 3-4 with 5 RBI and two triples, Connor Kramer who went 2-4 with double and a triple and 2 RBI’s and Mike Pashow who went 2-3 with 2 Runs scored.
On Monday night, Framingham traveled to McLaughlin Field to take on Leominster in Zone 4 Legion action.

Brady Levensohn took the bump and did not look back for Framingham going 6 innings with 4 K’s, 2 BB, 1 HB and 2 ER while scattering 4 hits.
Cody Coleman pitched a scoreless 7th for Framingham.
In the top of the first inning, Dom Morrelli lead off with a single and the scored on a home run over the left center fence by Connor McGovern to take 2-0 lead but the bats did not stop there.
Connor Kramer then doubled, and Cody Coleman would double as well putting Framingham up 3-0. Coleman stole third base and would score on David Maude’s base hit increasing the lead to 4-0. Framingham picked up a run in the 2nd and 3rd innings to increase the lead to 6-0. Leominster would score 1 run in the 4th and 5th inning as Levensohn had a strong outing for Framingham.

Framingham moves to (13-9) on the season and has clinched a home playoff game on Friday night July 15 at Bowditch Field in Framingham.
Framingham will finish the regular season on Tuesday night July 12th, home at Bowditch Field at 7 p.m. versus North County.
