FRAMINGHAM – A Natick man was arrested by Framingham Police on Hollis Street on a charge of operating a motor vehicle on a suspended driver’s license on July 2.

Police pulled over the vehicle at 12:20. When the driver was being placed under arrest, he attempted to run from police, and a resisting arrest charge was added, said Police spokesperson Lt. Rachel Mickens.

“He was quickly taken into custody,” said Lt. Mickens.

Arrested was Fernando Mendez, 36, of 164 West Central Street in Natick.

He was charged with resisting arrest and operating a motor vehicle after license suspended for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.
