FRAMINGHAM – Marie Philip School (MPS) at The Learning Center for the Deaf (TLC) has welcomed Kevin Cronin as Assistant Vice Principal for the middle and high school.
Cronin joins Jessica Greenfield, who recently accepted the MPS Secondary Vice Principal position after serving as Interim Principal for the past two years.
Cronin began his Deaf Education career in 2000 at Jean Massieu Academy School for the Deaf in Arlington, Texas. He attended the University of Pittsburgh, where he simultaneously served as adjunct ASL faculty while attaining his Master’s degree in Deaf Education.

For the last 22 years, he has taught in classrooms throughout several states, as well as served in leadership positions such as Athletic Coordinator, Dorm Director, and most recently the Director of NTID Regional STEM Center.
Not only did he leave with a degree and enthusiasm for bilingual education, but also a love for the local sports. Kevin loves to play golf, tennis, pickleball, baseball/softball, basketball, bowling, and go camping.
He joins The Learning Center with years of experience and knowledge, as well as a thirst for continued learning.
These two positions fulfill a well-rounded leadership approach to our Secondary Department and create a balanced support system for our students, staff and families, said the Center.
