FRAMINGHAM – Stapleton Elementary Vice Principal Lisa DiDonato will become the new vice principal at McCarthy Elementary School for the 2022-23 school year.
DiDonato became the vice principal at Stapleton Elementary in the 2020-21 school year.
McCarthy Vice Principal Jean Nolan will retire as of June 30, 2022.
The change at Stapleton comes as first-year Principal Sara Yuen goes on maternity leave to start the 2022-23 school year.
And as McCarthy teachers & staff took a no confidence vote in McCarthy Elementary principal Cynthia Page.

On May 25 & 26, FTA members at McCarthy Elementary School took a vote of no confidence in their building principal.
Of those who voted, 94% have non confidence in Principal Page.
There are 75 FTA members at McCarthy Elementary – 61 voted no confidence and 10 members did not vote.
The last time the FTA took a no confidence vote was against former Superintendent of Schools Stacey Scott.
The last time the FTA took a no confidence vote against a principal was more than 2 decades ago.
