FRAMINGHAM – Brophy Elementary School announced to families a new Vice Principal for the 2022-23 school year.

Brophy social worker Jeny Rivera will be the new vice principal.

She will replace Caitlin Long, who is leaving to become a principal in the Braintree Elementary Schools.

Rivera grew up in Framingham. Her family is from El Salvador and she speaks Spanish fluently.

Rivera, who attended Brophy Elementary School as a child, received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Pine Manor College and her Master’s degree in social work from Simmons University.

Rivera has been in the field of social work for 10 years and has experience with families in home counseling, parent and caregiver support, and special education advocacy.
