FRAMINGHAM – The City of Framingham announced “paving on Union Avenue between the Sudbury River Bridge and Main Street is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, June 15, between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m., weather permitting.”

During working hours, Union Avenue Southbound traffic will be detoured to Franklin Street, to Mt. Wayte Avenue and Melrose Street, and back onto Union Avenue.

Union Avenue will be open for Northbound travel only between Mt. Wayte Ave and Main Street.

At the end of the workday, the road will be open to traffic in both directions.

The project is being conducted and managed by MassDOT.
