FRAMINGHAM – On Saturday night, St. Tarcisius Church hosted the largest festival in MetroWest – Festa Junina. Thousands of individuals and families attended the Brazilian celebration.

While several lots were available for parking, many attendees parked illegally on several nearby streets and Route 135 at times was a parking lot due to the traffic.

Framingham Police said there were no arrests at the event.

“Approximately 150 parking tickets were issued,” said the Framingham Police spokesperson Lt. Rachel Mickens.
