FRAMINGHAM – Police are investigating a reported theft from St. Tarcisius Catholic Church on Route 135 in Framingham.

The theft was reported at 6:20 p.m. on Sunday, June 5 at 562 Waverley Street.

“A male took approximately $100 from the candle box inside the church,” said Framingham Police spokesperson Lt. Rachel Mickens.

The thief was described as “bald, wearing green Celtics sweatshirt, khaki shorts, black sneakers and mask,” said Lt. Mickens.

“The male has not been identified yet,” said Lt. Mickens on Monday afternoon.
