ASHLAND – Today is election day in Ashland. Polls will be open until 8 p.m.

There are only two contested races on the Town of Ashland ballot. They are for Planning Board and Health Board.

Catherine Jurczyk and Kevin McClean are battling for a 3-year seat on the Ashland Planning Board.

Edward Burman and Koduvayur G. Narayana are seeking the 2-year seat on the Board of Health.

John J. Byrnes III is unopposed for a 3-year seat on the Ashland Board of Health.

Select Board members Brandi Kinsman and Joe Magnani Jr. are both seeking re-election for a 3-year term. They are unopposed.

School Committee member Paul Kendall and Erin Williams are also unopposed for re-election for 3-year seats.

Planning Board member Marcel Arjona is unopposed for a 5-year seat on the Ashland Planning Board.

Bonnie Mitchell is unopposed for a 3-year seat on the Board of Library Trustees.

Moderator Adam B. Shuster is unopposed for re-election for another 3-year term.

Charles Lidz is seeking re-election to the Assessors Board for 3 years.
