FRAMINGHAM – Mayor Charlie Sisitsky and Chief Financial Officer Louise Miller will hold a public hearing to set the City’s water and wastewater (sewer) rates on Thursday, June 9.

The hearing starts at 7 p.m. in the Blumer room at the Memorial Building, 150 Concord Street.

The public may attend the rate hearing either in person or remotely on Zoom.

The City of Framingham provides reasonable accommodations and or language assistance (e.g., interpreters in Portuguese, Spanish, American Sign Language, closed captioning, etc.) upon request as available. Please email Susan Nicholl your request and include the preferred format for assistance. Requests should be made as soon as possible, at least 10 business days before the hearing.

There is a water and sewer informational meeting on May 19.

Please reference the anticipated FY2023 Enterprise Fund Budget and the proposed rate
calculations.

The proposed sewer increase is about 16% across all 5 tiers.

The proposed water rate increase is also about 16%.
