FRAMINGHAM – Anne E. (Thompson) Mahoney longtime Framingham resident passed away at the age of 87 at her home surrounded by her family on May 13, 2022. 

She was the devoted wife of Lawrence P. Mahoney for over 56 years.

Born in New York City, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Katherine (Barrett) Thompson.   She graduated from Dickinson College in 1956. 

Anne met Lawrence and married in Seattle, and they came east in 1957 at the conclusion of Lawrence’s active duty in the US Navy.   

Anne had many different jobs but spent the majority of her career at the U.S. Army Natick Labs. 

After retirement, Anne enjoyed fishing trips with her husband on Cape Cod or Longboat Key Florida.  She was a devoted mom, wife, and grandmother and a caring friend to those who knew her. 

She is survived by her loving daughter Lisa A. Snow and her husband Patrick of Hudson, her much loved granddaughter Katherine A. Snow, her sister Dorothy Irene Paulet of Palatine, IL and many nieces and nephews.  Funeral Service in the John Everett Funeral Home 4 Park Street in Natick on Wednesday May 18 at 11 a.m.Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.  Visitation will start at 10 a.m.  Interment Glenwood Cemetery in South Natick. 

Anne was a member of the American Association of University Women, Daughters of the American Revolution and Suburban Bowling League.
