SOUTHBOROUGH – Monday, May 1, Southborough Fire Department announced the active duty death of Lisa Moulton Thompson.

Mark Thompson has now created a GoFundMe to help Lisa’s husband and their two boys, Dylan and Bentley, after the ‘sudden and unexpected passing of Lisa” on April 29, 2022, at the age of 38.

The goal is to raise $150,000.

In just one day, more than $20,000 has raised for the Medway family.

“Craig is a Millis Police Officer and Air Force Veteran who is serving his country honorably. Lisa a newly appointed full-time Southborough Firefighter who realized her dream last summer after long supporting her husband’s career in military and law enforcement. It was Lisa’s turn to serve, and Craig could not have been more proud,” wrote Mark Thompson.

Lisa was a call firefighter in Medway and Sherborn before her appointment to Southborough.

“Craig and Lisa have devoted their lives to serving others, their joint commitment to public safety along with Craig’s military service is unmatched. Please donate to this most deserving family. The financial burden Craig now has raising these two boys as a single parent is immense. Any amount is greatly appreciated,” wrote Mark Thompson.
