FRAMINGHAM – Helen B. (Lombardo) Newman, 69, a longtime resident of Framingham died March 25, 2022 following a period of declining health.

Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late John P. & Helen B. (Henrich) Lombardo, and the beloved wife of Stephen P. Newman.

Helen was a graduate of Framingham High School, and went on to become a Dental Tech Assistant. She later worked for Bose Corporation as a receptionist.

Helen had a contagious laugh and the personality to match. She loved to cook for family and friends, and was always there for anybody and everybody.

Besides her husband Stephen, Helen is survived by her son, John S. Newman & his wife Megan of Worcester, and many brothers and sisters in law, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Donald.

Family and friends will honor and remember Helen’s life by gathering for visiting hours in the McCarthy, McKinney & Lawler Funeral Home, 11 Lincoln Street in Framingham on Wednesday, March 30 from 4 – 7 p.m Her Funeral Services will be celebrated in the funeral home on Thursday morning at 10:30 a.m.

Interment will follow in Dell Park Cemetery in Natick.
