FRAMINGHAM – The Greater Framingham Community Church, as a community partner with the City of Framingham, and seeking to reach communities of color with COVID-19 vaccine information, has produced two videos in Portuguese and Spanish.

“Since the pandemic began, Greater Framingham Community Church has partnered with various grant partners, our most recent being Health Resources in Action. Our mission has been to increase vaccination rates among communities of color through the dissemination of culturally appropriate materials,” said the Framingham church.

“We have filmed a Portuguese and Spanish informational video in which individual community members answer commonly asked questions about the COVID vaccine,” said the church.

The Portuguese version features Framingham School Committee Chair Priscila Sousa, the first Latina & BIPOC chair of the School Committee.
