FRAMINGHAM – Sister Catherine Mary Meade, CSJ, in her 76th year as a beloved member of the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Boston, died Monday, March 21, 2022. 

Devoted daughter of the late John J. and Mary F. (Shine) Meade, and beloved sister of the late Mary F. (Sister Maura) Meade, SND, Peter J. Meade, Cathleen Coté and her husband, Richard.  Sister Catherine is survived by her cherished nieces, nephew, grandniece and grandnephews, along with her devoted cousins and her Sisters in the Congregation. 

Formerly missioned as a teacher at St. Thomas Aquinas School, Jamaica Plain; St. John School, Winthrop; St. Mary School, Stoughton; St. Mary School, Brookline; and ministered for 30 years at Regis College as Associate Professor and Chair of the History Department.

Visiting hours at Holy Family Chapel, Sisters of St. Joseph Motherhouse, 631 Cambridge Street, BrightonTuesday, March 29, 2022, 9:15 to 10 a.m.

Prayer Service at 10 a.m. followed by the Funeral Mass and Prayers of Final Commendation at the Motherhouse at 10:15 a.m.

Burial will follow at St. Patrick Cemetery, 180 Pond Street in Natick.

 Arrangements by Norton Funeral Home, Framingham.
