NATICK – Pastor of St. Patrick and St. Linus Churches in Natick formerly of Newton passed away on March 16, 2022.
Loving son of the late William and Carmela (Cardarelli) MacEwen. Devoted brother of Mary Abruzzi and her husband Lou of Framingham, Daniel and his wife Barbara, William and his wife Susan all of Waltham. Uncle of Katelyn and her husband David, Kimberly and her husband Jake, Matthew and his wife Angela, Michael, Alyson and her husband Chrisshawn, Jeffrey and Benjamin. Great uncle of Gianna, Aliya, Kylie, DJ, Cianna, Everley and Molly.
Visiting Hours in St. Patrick Church 44 East Central Street (Rt 135) Natick on Sunday March 20 from 5 to 8 p.m. and in St. Linus Church 119 Hartford Street Natick on Monday March 21 from 4 to 7 p.m.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Patrick Church on Tuesday March 22 at 11 a.m.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Interment St. Stephen Cemetery Framingham.
Fr. Michael was ordained in 1985 and served several parishes in the Archdiocese of Boston.
He also spent several years as secretary to Cardinal Law.
Fr. Michael served in the Air Force Reserve as a Chaplin with the rank of Captain.
