FRAMINGHAM – A motor vehicle was broken into on Richwood Street in Framingham on February 25, and a pocketbook with credit cards and cash was stolen, according to Framingham Police.

Police have no suspects at this time.

Richwood Street is located off Route 9, near Route 126.

Earlier this month, Framingham Police unveiled a new marketing campaign to remind residents to lock their vehicles at night and to take their valuables out of vehicles at night.

Called the “#9pmroutine,” it reminds residents that “criminals look for easy targets, which include unlocked vehicles and residences.”

Police said the “best way to prevent these crimes is to protect your valuables and lock them up.”

Police asked residents to report any suspicious activity by calling 508-872-1212.
