FRAMINGHAM – Police arrested a Framingham man on a charge of driving a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and other charges on Sunday morning, February 27 at 9:30 a.m.
The driver was stopped at 485 Franklin Street for a motor vehicle violation.
An officer observed an open container of beer in the vehicle, said the Framingham Police spokesperson.
The officer “determined that the operator was under the influence of alcohol,” said Lt. Rachel Mickens. The driver “refused to be placed under arrest and was also charged with resisting arrest.”
Arrested was Erick Pinto Ramirez, 25, of 258 Union Avenue in Framingham.
He was charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, marked lanes violation, and resisting arrest.
