FRAMINGHAM – Framingham police are investigating the theft of a “transformer” from a life science company in the tech park area of the city.

Police were called to 33 New York Avenue at 4:43 p.m. on Wednesday for a larceny at Replimune, Inc.

“A portable transformer located outside of Replimune, Inc was taken,” said Framingham’s police spokesperson.

“Suspect vehicle is a red truck,” said Framingham Police Lt. Rachel Mickens.

It appeared to be a male and a female in the truck, she added.

Replimune’s mission is to revolutionize cancer treatment with therapies designed to activate a powerful and durable full-body anti-tumor response. “We imagine a world where cancer is a curable disease.” The company has offices in the United Kingdom, Woburn, and Framingham.
