ASHLAND – Ashland Firefighters, Ashland Police, and transit police are on the scene of a train vs a vehicle crash in Ashland at the commuter rail train crossing tonight, February 6.

The incident happened after 6 p.m.

“The vehicle was unoccupied and stuck on the tracks when struck by the commuter train. There are no injuries,” reported Ashland Fire.

The Cherry Street crossing is closed while the train is inspected and the vehicle is removed, reported Ashland Fire.

Expect delays on the commuter rail.
