FRAMINGHAM – Although schools were closed today due to the ice storm, as of 12:30 p.m. Framingham High still plans to stage the musical In the Heights tonight at 7:30 p.m.

The Framingham High School Drama Company will send a communication by 5 p.m. if a decision is made to postpone the performane

For the safety of our performers, crew,  musicians and all audience members, there are some restrictions for the audience with the shows this weekend.

For tonight:

  • Please do not arrive earlier than 6:45pm. 
  • Masks must be on for the entirety of the production experience when inside Framingham High School. Proper masking includes over your nose.
  • ALL AUDIENCE MEMBERS must enter through the main entrance of the school – NOT the theatre entrance. 
  • Upon entrance you will need to show your ticket for the performance. This ticket will either read Friday, January 14th OR Friday, February 4TH. 
  • You will then be ushered to a Covid vaccination check. All audience members must show proof of vaccination and a photo ID that matches the vaccine card. Photos are acceptable. If you are not vaccinated, you must show EITHER a negative PCR test in the past 48 hours OR photograph of a negative antigen rapid test dated the day of the performance. If you do not have a vaccine card, or a negative PCR result, or a photograph of a rapid test taken the day of the performance you will not be allowed into the theatre. 
  • You will then be ushered to the theatre lobby where you can purchase concessions, raffle tickets (for the the cast recording on vinyl signed by the original Broadway cast!), purchase flowers, or stop by the photo table. House will open promptly at 7 p.m.

  • All concessions are to be consumed OUTSIDE the theatre during intermission. 
  • Upon entering the theatre you must show your ticket for seating purposes. 
  • The performance runs about 2.5 hours with a 15 minute intermission. 

If you or anyone you know are looking for seats for tonight or Saturday, new seats were just released. Please watch on www.showtix4u.com. The Saturday matinee still has many seats as well.
