FRAMINGHAM – Superintendent of Schools Bob Tremblay has called a snow day or perhaps it is an “ice day” for February 4.

The National Weather Service out of Boston/Norton is forecasting snow, but mostly sleet, ice, and rain for Friday. The worst is scheduled between 4 a.m. and 8 a.m.

Although not part of the Framingham Public Schools, Keefe Technical, Saint Bridget School, and the Christa McAuliffe Charter School are also closed on Friday too.

“Due to icy conditions anticipated during both the morning and afternoon commutes, as well as potential for icy sidewalk conditions, school is canceled tomorrow, Friday, February 4th. Before and after school programs and District offices will also be closed,” said the District.

“At this time, evening activities will remain scheduled. If there are any changes to evening activities, a separate communication will be sent,” said the District.

This means at this time the musical In The Heights, and sporting events are still on.

This is just the second snow day this school year.
