FRAMINGHAM – Rosetta Patterson, 86, a resident of Framingham most of her life, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Thursday, January 27, 2022.

She was the beloved daughter of the late Natale and Pasqualena (Todesco) Jodice. She was the loving mother of Paula Surro of Framingham, Stephanie Mulherin of Hooksett, NH, Kelly Mulherin of Framingham, Christopher & his late wife Jennifer Mulherin of Framingham, and Maria & Patrick Doering of Portland, ME. Proud grandmother of Anthony (Magdalena), Andrew (Daniele), Kathryn (Kevin), CJ (Stephanie), Paul, Eliza, Jenna, and Luke, and great-grandmother to Jacob, Daniel, Isabella, Victoria, Mia, Olivia, Hanna, Ava & McKenna. She is survived by her siblings Fred Jodice of Cape Coral, FL, Natalie Smith of Sharon, and Leon Jodice of Chatham. She was the sister of the late Phyllis Forant, Helene Barrett, Gaetano Jodice, and Paul Jodice.

Rosetta spent most of her career working as a secretary for a surgeon’s office and later for a dental office, until her retirement.  It was there she loved being social with everyone that came through the door, often forming deep-rooted bonds and friendships.

Rosetta was best known for her impeccable style and love of the arts. She enjoyed attending the theatre or a good opera.

She also had a passion for playing the piano and accordion with friends, hosting exchange students,  traveling with her late partner of 31 years Kenneth Lundberg, and teaching her loved ones how to make homemade ravioli and Italian desserts.

Rosetta was a member of the German Club in Walpole and frequented their dance hall and festivals. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts

At this time, a private ceremony is planned for the immediate family. Contributions in Rosetta’s memory can be made to the Framingham Public Library.
