FRAMINGHAM – Police officers arrested a Framingham man on assault & battery with a dangerous weapons charge early Sunday morning.

Police were called to a Route 135 parking lot, at 672 Waverley Street, at 1 a.m. on January 23.

“We responded to a fight in the parking lot,” said Framingham Police Lt. Rachel Mickens.

Police arrested Adeilson Pereira, 30, of 1186 Worcester Road of Framingham.

He was charged with assault & battery with a dangerous weapon (vehicle).

“The victim was pushed and struck his head on a vehicle,” said Lt. Mickens.

The victim was transported to MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham for a “a laceration.”

“Pereira was located shortly after and placed under arrest for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon,” said Lt. Mickens. “Pereira was charged with ABDW because the victim struck his head on the vehicle after being pushed.”

He was arrested at 186 Worcester Road.
