FRAMINGHAM – William Farley, a longtime resident of Framingham, died January 16, 2022.

Born in Holyoke, he was the son of Frank J. and Betty E. (MacDonald) Farley.

He worked for many years as a realtor in the Metrowest area.

William is survived by his brother, Francis P.V. Farley of Framingham and his sister, Catherine F. Lanza of Leominster as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was the brother of the late, Robert Farley, Andrew Farley, Walter Farley, Edward Farley and brother-in-law of the late Stephen Lanza.

In keeping with William’s wishes, funeral services will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in his memory may be made to St. George Church, 74 School Street, Framingham, MA 01701 or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital  www.stjude.org 

The family is grateful to the doctors and nurses at UMass Memorial Hospital for the compassionate care William received.
