1 The City of Framingham indoor public spaces mask mandate began at midnight.

2. The City Council elected District 6 City Councilor Phil Ottaviani Jr. as Chair for the next two years in a 9-1-1 vote.

At-large City Councilor Janet Leombruno was elected vice chair in a 6-5 vote. She is the first woman elected in a leadership role with the City Council.

3. Trash is on a one-day delayed collection this week due to the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday on Monday.
