ASHLAND – Mary Ann (Pimentel) Iarussi, 91, of Ashland died peacefully at her home on January 12, 2022, surrounded by her family. 

She was the loving wife of the late Oswald Iarussi, her best friend and loving husband of 72 years.

Born in Plymouth, on July 26, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Ruprecht) Pimentel, raised in Ashland and graduating from Ashland High School in 1948. 

She was a full-time homemaker, a life-long member of St. Cecilia’s Parish, and devoted mother of 12 children, 31 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

She leaves her 12 children: Mark Iarussi and his wife Joanne, Dianne Cairney and her husband Kevin, Paul Iarussi and his wife Maureen, Linda Smith and her late husband Leonard, Susan Shahood and her husband Mark, Ozzie Iarussi and his wife Linda, Mary Tougas and her husband Raymond, Christopher Iarussi and his wife Elaine, David Iarussi and his wife Sandy, Robert Iarussi and his wife Maryann, Nancy Iarussi and Brian Iarussi.  She was pre-deceased by her 4 sisters and 3 brothers.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, January 19th at 10:30 a.m. at St. Cecilia’s Church, 54 Esty Street, Ashland, with interment to follow in Wildwood Cemetery in Ashland. 

There are no calling hours.
