FRAMINGHAM – Massachusetts Standing Up For Racial Justice will celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day with a service to the community event.

Framingham League of Women Voters is a cohost of the event.

The event will take place at the intersection of Route 135 and 126 between noon and 4 p.m. in Framingham.

Limited number of KN95 Masks, even more limited number of Rapid Antigen Home Test Kit and hand sanitizers will be distributed from a table in Downtown Framingham. Limit one per person / family and as long as supplies last. 

There will also be voter registration and rallying for voting rights. This is a nationwide celebration with nearly 100 partners.

Every one is asked to wear masks and maintain a physical distance of 6 feet.

Volunteers will hold signs “Honk for Democracy” and “Pass Voting Rights Bill” . Make signs if you can – hand written will be fine.  The Senate is entering a very critical phase and this rally is part of a nationwide push.  There are chanting as well.  Carry forward the legacy of John Lewis.

Volunteers will be registering individuals to vote. More volunteers are needed.

The event will be held rain or shine.
