1 Today is a holiday – Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

2. The 35th Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Event with the Greater Framingham Community Church is this morning at 9 in Natick. The event is in person, but the deadline to register has passed.

3. There will be a day of action in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Massachusetts Standing Up For Racial Justice will celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day with a service to the community event.

Framingham League of Women Voters is a cohost of the event.

The event will take place at the intersection of Route 135 and 126 between noon and 4 p.m. in Framingham.

Limited number of KN95 Masks, even more limited number of Rapid Antigen Home Test Kit and hand sanitizers will be distributed from a table in Downtown Framingham. Limit one per person / family and as long as supplies last. 

There will also be voter registration and rallying for voting rights. This is a nationwide celebration with nearly 100 partners.

4. There will be a discussion on mental health today at noon.

5. City Hall is closed today in Framingham, as is the public libraries due to the holiday.
