ASHLAND – Ashland Public School District reported 24 new, positive COVID-19 over the last 24 hours.

Yesterday, the district reported 23 cases.

Here is a breakdown per school:

* Pittaway School 1 case

  • Warren School 5
  • Mindess School 8
  • Ashland Middle School 6

Children who become symptomatic in school will be tested by a school nurse.

Symptoms may include a new onset cough, scratchy throat, sneezing, runny nose or congestion, muscle aches, tiredness, fever, or a loss of taste or smell.

If your child is tested, please inform their school nurse about their test results before sending them back to school.

Positive students are reminded they have the responsibility to notify anyone they believe would be a close contact.
