FRAMINGHAM – This past weekend, Framingham Firefighters Tom Falone retired, after 34-plus years.

Appointed on November 23, 1987, Falone’s last day was January 2.

“Tom had over 34 years of service to the citizens of Framingham,” said Framngham Fire Chief Michael Dutcher. “He served as a Provisional Lieutenant on several occasions.”

“Tom was a ‘can do’ type of firefighter, always willing to help out.  He is like a Swiss army knife-you can plug him in anywhere and he’ll get the job done!  That’s why he was assigned to the heavy rescue for many years. Tom will be sorely missed,” said Chief Dutcher.
