FRAMINGHAM – A Framingham shopping plaza was sold for $16 million last month.

The plaza, located on Route 9, was the former home of Bed, Bath, & Beyond, a home store.

The property located at 84 Worcester Road was sold from 84 Worcester Road LLC to 84 WR LLC in December 2021.

The new LLC was incorporated on December 10, 2021. The mangers are Andrew R. O’Connor, John A. Garafalo, and Thomas Sibley.

The LLC has offices in Concord.

No plans have been filed with the City for development of the property as of January 3, at 9 a.m.

The plaza has one building on it, built in 1979, according to the City’s assessing database.

The City of Framingham assessed the property at $9.058 million in 2022, with the land valued at $2.6 million and the building at $6.125 million

There is about 4 acres of land and 318 parking spaces. The property is adjacent to a Verizon store and UNO’s

The 84 Worcester Road property was last sold in 1987.

Oprah Winfrey visited that Framingham Bed, Bath, & Beyond in 2012, before the home store closed in 2020
