FRAMINGHAM – Karen Ann Kelly, 51, died peacefully and comfortably in the care and comfort of her family at her residence on December 16, 2021.

She was born in Newton on December 23, 1969 the daughter of the late Thomas J. Kelly and Jean Dorothy (Boudrot) Kelly.

Karen is survived by her siblings, John Kelly and his wife Cheryl Kelly of Webster; Thomas Kelly of Sagamore Beach; Paula Kelly of Buzzards Bay and Nancy Kelly and her husband Richard Peirson of Buzzards Bay. Also survived by three nieces and four nephews.

She loved music, dancing and animals, especially her family dogs. She also enjoyed dining out, loved a good buffet and had a passion for cupcakes.

Karen was outgoing, loved to be around people and always enjoyed the time spent with her family. She had a special fondness for her Aunt Edna and held a special place in her heart for Jimmy “Mrs. Bouquet” O’Malley of Waltham and Mark “Clifford” Hollander and his wife Katie of Falmouth.

Karen also enjoyed the many hours that she volunteered at Saint Patrick’s Manor in Framingham visiting with the residents. She will be fondly loved and missed by her family and all the loves that she touched during her lifetime.

Visitations will be held on Thursday, December 23, 2021 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the John C. Bryant Funeral Home, 56 Pemberton Road (off Rt, 30), Wayland followed by a brief prayer service.


Private interment and graveside services will follow at the Kelly family lot in St. Stephen Cemetery in Framingham.
