BOSTON – The Framingham High boys indoor track team opened its season at the Reggie Lewis Center in Boston on Thursday, December 16, against Natick High and Brookline High.

The Flyers lost to both the Red Hawks and the Warriors.

The Red Hawks defeated the Flyers 70-26.

The Warriors defeated the Flyers 69 to 31.

Natick defeated Brookline 59-41, to start the season undefeated at 2-0

Flyers are now 0-2 on the season.

In the 55-meter dash, Framingham senior Andrew Subramaniyam finished in 7:05 seconds. Natick’s Jaidyn Anderson ran a 7.16 second race, with Framingham senior Antonio Rivera crossing the finish line in 7.20 seconds.

Weymouth senior Marshall Naegelin was the fastest on the track in 6.75 seconds.

This was the first track meet for the Flyers indoors since 2020.

in the 200-meter race, Natick’s Yan De La Rose finished first in 24.9 seconds. Natick’s Anderson took second in 25 seconds flat with Framingham junior Jasen Jean-Louis third in 25.3 seconds.

The Red Hawks swept the 300-meter race. Sophomore Andy Marotta was first in 39.59 seconds, followed by De la Rosa, and Dylan Weddle.

Natick also swept the 400-meter event. Ben Feldman won the race in 53.4 seconds, with senior Fin Greene second and Charles Catching third in 56.1 seconds. Framingham junior Trevor Lipp was best Flyers in 57.9 seconds.

In the 600-meter event, Natick’s Fin Greene posted the 6th fastest time on the track at 1:30.28 minutes.

Framingham sophomore finished 18th overall and second against Natick in 1:37.48 minutes.

Natick’s Ben Feldman had the second fastest time on the track in the 1,00-meter race at 2:44.55 minutes. Natick swept the Flyers in that event.

Framingham senior Shand Seiffert crossed the finish line first in the meet against the Red Hawks in the mile event. His time was 4:54.20 minutes. Natick’s Jacob Tobin was second with Ben Scharr-Weiner third.

Brookline’s Alex Petersen finished first with a time of 4:43.96 minutes with Seiffert second in the mile in that dual meet.

The Flyers Arnav Singh was the fastest on the Reggie Lewis track Thursday for the 2-mile event. His time was 10:12.84 seconds.

Natick’s Steven D’Alessandro finished 4th overall in 10:26.94 minutes. Framingham senior Jordan Spector was 12th overall in 11:02 minutes.

Framingham senior Noah Marshall finished first with Flyer freshman Matheus Silva second in the hurdles event against the Red Hawks. Natick junior Alexander Garbacz was third in 10:64 seconds.

Natick won the 4X 200 relay against Framingham. Sprinters De La Rosa, Anderson, Michael Cliver and Ryan Jewett crossed the finish line in 1:42.82 minutes.

Framingham sprinters Aidan Broderick, Jasen Jeanlouis, Marshall and Marshall Lewis finished in 1:47.54 minutes.

Natick runners Catching, Fin Greene, Andy Marotta, and Feldman won the 4X400 sprint against the Flyers and had the second fastest time on the track in 3:43.39 minutes.

In the shot put event, Natick finished 1-2, with seniors Jacob Reinach and Anderson. Reinach threw 41 feet and 5.75 inches. Framingham’s Subramaniyam finished third with 36 feet and 1 inch.

Red Hawk senior Joel Newman won the high jump against the Flyers in 5 feet and 6 inches. It was the fifth highest leap that day.

Natick sophomore Weddle won the long jump competition against the Flyers, with a leap of 18 feet and 6 inches. Subramaniyam finished second with a jump of 17 feet and 9.75 inches.
