FRAMINGHAM – Framingham Police arrested a Framingham man on a charge of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol after he struck two vehicles on Sunday night, November 7.

The crashes were reported at 5:40 p.m. and the driver was arrested at 5:55 p.m.

Police arrested Jose Martinez, 57, of 137A Winthrop Street of Framingham. He was charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and failure to stay within marked lanes.

“Martinez struck two vehicles at the intersection of Mellen and Waverley,” said Framingham Police spokesperson Lt. Rachel Mickens. “He was determined to be under the influence of alcohol and placed under arrest.”

There were no injuries, said Lt. Mickens.
