FRAMINGHAM – The Framingham High boys soccer team scratched out a 1-0 win over the Wildcats of Milton High, today, October 28, in a crucial bay state conference matchup.

The Flyers got on the board in the first half on a goal by senior Kaio Viegas. Assisting on the play was sophomore Brendan Walker.

Midfielders Niko Tsiantoulis and Gui Mendes we’re key contributors to a terrific display of possession by the Flyers, said Coach Jon Wood.

Defensively sophomore Gus dos Santos played extremely well and helped preserve the shutout. Goalies Bruno Kajiwara and Tyler Ingham split the shutout in net for the Flyers, said Coach Wood.

The Flyers are now 10-1-5, under head coach Dan Avery, and have qualified for post-season play.

UPDATED: Framingham will host Natick High at 9 a.m. on Saturday, October 30 at Framingham High rain or shine.
