FRAMINGHAM – Team Framingham, for their ninth year in a row, is currently accepting charity and runner applications until November 19, 2021, for the 2022 Boston Marathon.

“Our fundraising has been remarkably successful, raising over $634,000 for local charities in eight years,” said Jenifer Feaster, Committee Chair. “We are proud to share that our program has a 99.4% success rate, 154 out of 155 team runners who have participated and run the Boston Marathon over the eight past years for Team Framingham were able to complete the full 26.2-mile course.”

Both the runner and charity application process will close promptly at 4 p.m. on Friday, November 19.

Completed charity applications must be emailed to both TeamFraminghamMarathon@gmail.com and jhorrigan@framinghamma.gov.

Runner applications should only be submitted to the Team Framingham email address above. Or, paper copies can be delivered or mailed to Jennique Horrigan, City Hall, the Mayor’s Office, Room 121, 150 Concord Street, Framingham, MA 01702.

Paper applications must be received by the deadline to be considered.

The random selection process will be open to the public in early December. Location, time, and date details will be announced soon.
