WASHINGTON DC – A Food & Drug Administration (FDA) panel voted against a proposal by drug-manufacturer Pfizer for booster COVID shots for all Americans age 16 and olde.

The panel votes to approve booster vaccine shots for those age 65 or older and those who are considered high-risk

A CDC advisory panel will meet next week to discuss recommendations for who should receive a booster dose
