FRAMINGHAM – The Keefe Technical cross-country team won its first meet of the 2021 season.

The team traveled out to Abby Kelley in Worcester, and raced them at their home course at Kendrick Field.

The Broncos won 19-44, said head coach Jeff Beling.

Freshman Aedan Weller was the fastest runner for Keefe at 19:47 minutes on the 2.8 mile course. He finished first overall.

Sophomore Grace Arena was the fastest female Bronco in 24:17 minutes.

Junior Liam Regan finished third overall in 21.40 minutes.

Seniors Michael Najarian and Bruno Barbosa finished fourth and fifth overall.

Keefe Tech is now 1-1 on the season.

Next meet is at home on September 21 against Bay Path at 3:30 p.m.
