FRAMINGHAM – The City of Framingham Parks & Recreation Department announced this afternoon, September 12, that starting Monday morning, September 13, the public is invited to come to the Living Memorial at Cushing Memorial Park and take a flag in remembrance of those lives lost on September 11, 2001.

On Friday, dozen of volunteers placed almost 3,000 flags in the park to honor those lives lost 20 years ago on September 11, 2001.

If you are unable to make it on Monday, and would still like a flag, you may pick one up from the Framingham Police Department, Framingham Fire Department Headquarters, or the Parks & Recreation Administration Building, said the Parks & Recreation Department.

Flags will be available at these locations from Tuesday, September 14 through Friday, September 17.
