WESTON – Mass State Police Troopers assigned to the State Police-Framingham Barracks responded to a crash in Weston involving a passenger sedan and a tractor-trailer unit just before 10:30 a.m. today, August 27.

The crash occurred on the ramp from Route 95 northbound to the Mass Pike.

Preliminary investigation indicates that a 73-year-old man from Milford, driving a 2010 Toyota Camry, was involved in a collision with a Tractor-Trailer. The operator of the Camry was trapped in the vehicle and determined to be deceased on scene.

The operator of the Tractor-Trailer, a 57-year-old man from Plainville Conn. was transported by Weston Fire and EMS to Lahey Hospital with serious injuries.

The crash remains under investigation with assistance from State Police Collision Analysis Reconstruction Section, Crime Scene Services Section, Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Section, and Troop H Detectives.

The Route 95 Northbound ramp to the Mass Pike, and the Pike eastbound ramp to Route 95 Northbound were closed. Traffic was rerouted to Route 95 Southbound. The ramps were reopened around 2 p.m.
