FRAMINGHAM – The Framingham License Commission last night, unanimously approved a common victualer license for a planned Brazilian-American bakery on Concord Street in the Saxonville section of the city.

The bakery is planned for the former Subway shop at 1671 Concord Street.

There was a “stop-work order” issued to the property but it has been removed.

The Framingham License Commission approved the license 4-0, with Commissioner Laura Medrano.

The Family Bakery Inc. is Murilo Henrique A Sobral De Lima, is the president.

The family told the Commission they want the bakery to have a “mix” of both Brazilian and American flavors.

The family is making renovations to the property.

A fire inspection and a health inspection is still needed before they can open.

Approved hours were 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.

An opening date has not been set yet.
