FRAMINGHAM – The Framingham Senior Babe Ruth Baseball team defeated Marlborough last night 6-2 in the second game of the Central Massachusetts Senior Babe Ruth Championship series.

Marlborough won the first game, so the deciding game is tonight at 7 at Marlborough High.

Luke Spring pitched a complete game Tuesday night.

Cody Coleman had with 3 hits and two big RBIs for Framingham.

Nate Thurber gave Framingham the lead with a big hit.

Solid outfield defense from Scooter Beverly and Noah Pearlman.

The team is coached by Framingham High alumni Justin Brockway, Michael Rotchford, and Andrew Keane.

Framingham finished the regular season in second place with 8 wins and 4 losses, and had a bye for the first round of the playoffs.

Framingham beat Franklin in a best 2 out of 3 series to advance to the championship.
