1 Catch the final performance of Weston Drama Workshop’s The Jungle Book tonight at 8:30 p.m.

It stars Framingham High’s Brendan Qi (as Baloo) and Hadley Connor (as Mowgli)

2. There is a Concert on the Common tonight. Larry Bee & Buzz perform starting at 6 p.m. Expect to hear a lot of old rock & roll.

3. All 3 of the City’s beaches are closed again, due to either bacteria or toxic algae. The last set of tests came back on July 28.

Lake Waushakum beach has never opened for the season. Saxonville Lake has been closed for more than a week due to a toxic algae.

4. The first-ever Framingham Police Academy will graduate 28 cadets today at 2:30 p.m. at Keefe Technical High School. Mayor Yvonne Spicer is expected to attend, according to her public schedule and make a speech.

5. Tomorrow is the final day to sign up for the Rotary Club of Framingham’s new stock market fundraiser. Cost is just $25 and you dont even have to pick the stocks if you don’t want to.
